Member-member bertalenta ini semuanya memasuki ‘jalur penyanyi’ sejak sekolah dasar
Empat tahun setelah ‘SHINee’, SM Entertainment, tempat lahirnya grup-grup idola, hanya perlu berbicara sebuah boygroup untuk mendapat perhatian. Setelah membuat isu yang sangat besar, sebenarnya mereka bisa saja muncul secara langsung tetapi mereka malah menunjukan diri mereka perlahan-lahan selama 100 hari dan membiarkan orang-orang tahu bahwa sebuah grup pemula yang besar akan datang. Penantian 100 hari itu sangat layak.
Segera setelah mereka muncul, ketertarikan fans langsung meledak-ledak. Kehadiran mereka disambut tidak hanya di Korea, tetapi seluruh dunia. Grup EXO-K telah memasukin dunia penyanyi dengan album debut ‘MAMA’ dan mereka tengah bersiap-siap untuk dapat mencapai ke puncak.

Kai memiliki lencana di dadanya yang dapat membuatnya teleportasi, D.O mempunyai cincin yang memiliki kekuatan seperti binatang, Chanyeol memakan cincin yang dapat memberikannya kekuatan api. Sehun memiliki sabuk yang dapat mengeluarkan kekuatan angin, Suho memiliki kekuatan air dan Baekhyun memiliki kemampuan cahaya.

Semua member EXO-K ditentukan lebih awal untuk mengikuti ‘jalan sebagai penyanyi’, dimulai dari tahun ke-6 sekolah dasar. Periode training terpendek adalah satu tahun tetapi Baekhyun meningkatkan keragaman musikalnya dengan memiliki band di sekolah, leader Suho mendapat periode training paling lama diantara mereka, ia training selama 7 tahun dan mengasah kemampuannya di SM. Untuk member lain seperti Sehun dan Kai, mereka di cast dari jalanan ketika mereka masih di tahun ke-6 sekolah dasar jadi mereka sudah berada di bidikan SM ketika mereka audisi di tahun ke-2 sekolah menengah.

Baekhyun: Ia memiliki beragam ketertarikan. Ia sangat lah bersinar dan ia selalu menjadi moodmaker. Ia juga memiliki kemampuan hapkido dan dapat mengajari kepada siswa-siswa lain. Ia menjadi vokal utama di grup.
Sehun: Ia mulai tertarik menjadi penyanyi ketika ia di cast di jalanan. Setelah mendapatkan training, ia juga perlahan tertarik pada akting. Ia mendapat training intensif untuk menari dan akting.
Kai: Ia dapat menari berbagai tipe tarian seperti balet, jazz, hip-hop, popping, rocking. Pertamanya ia ingin menjadi penari, tetapi mulai dari tahun ke-6 sekolah dasar, ia tertarik untuk menjadi penyanyi dan mempelajari tariannya. Jika ia mendapat kesempatan, ia ingin melakukan sebuah musikal dengan keenam membernya.
D.O: Marganya adalah Do jadi nama panggungnya menjadi D.O. Hobinya adalah beatboxing sejak sekolah dasar. Ketika kelas 2 SMA, ia memenangkan kontes menyanyi dan dapat cast dalam perjalanan pulang.

from 6th year of elementary school. The shortest training period was
one year but Baekhyun increased his musical diversity by playing in a
school band, the leader Suho got the longest training period among them,
he trained for 7 years and polished his skills at SM. As for the other
members like Sehun and Kai, they got casted in the street during their
6th year of elementary school so they were already in SM’s sights when
they auditioned after that in 2nd year of middle school.
